Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Mower Wont start after left in garage 1 year, john deere lt133, old john deere

I have a 2-3 year old John Deere LT133 13 h.p. that stayed in my garage over 1 year unstarted.  It had no gas in it.  I added gas started it up.....it tried to start up but only turns over won;t catch.  After it turns and turns  I see gas dripping under the motor section.  I checked hoses to the filter and to the outside of the engine.....no leaks there.  It seems tpo be coming out of the bottom middle sections ....if that is a decent explaination / description.

Any suggestions ?  Maybe a dry gasket of something....I could check under the engine area.....?  Thanks

There is a breather and if it gets clogged it will cause fuel to leak out. Also the float may be ticking and causing fuel to flood in the engine. Start by taking ff the carb and rebuilding it or cleaning it and check the float to see if the gaskets and the float pin and rubber dampener is not damaged
