Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Husky engine dies when pulling elec PTO, bolens, model numbers

Question
QUESTION: I went to the data plate and took all of the following numbers off it:
Model: LTH130
Serial: 092898B 00 1538
MFG ID#: 954140005J
Product#: 954-14-00-05

Subject  Engine dies when engaging elec PTO
Question  Hi,
I have a Husky LTH 130 riding mower that was dying when letting the clutch/brake out. I managed to break in half the clutch safety switch when getting it out, but have since put it back together with tape and I also taped the button down. It drives around fine now. The problem now is that the engine dies as soon as I pull the electrical PTO button. I have jumpered the seat switch to get that out of the equation and now am out of ideas. Basically, the mower acts like I am shutting the key off when I pull the PTO button (just like it did with the bad clutch switch). I have had the deck off, cleaned everything, blades and pulleys spin fine.
Thanks in advance.
Answer  Hello Jon:

Husky is a Bolens which is Manufactured by MTD. The PTO Switch May be Bad. Some Models have a Relay that will Cause this Problem Also. Send me the Model Numbers Off the Mower, Please. With these I can Locate the Proper Manual and Better Assist you. The Model Numbers are Usually Under the Seat on the Body. Thanks.

ANSWER: Hello Jon:

I Apologize for Any Confusion. The Model Number Sticker is Located Under the Seat. the LTH130 is the Series Model. The Mower Model Numbers Start with 13 and will be Similar to this Example; 13AD771G731. Thanks.

QUESTION: There's no confusion. I found the data sticker under the seat and accurately copied the numbers:
Model: LTH130
Serial: 092898B 00 1538
MFG ID#: 954140005J
Product#: 954-14-00-05
And, reading the Owner's Manual it says, "The model and serial numbers will be found on a plate under the seat."
Is there any other place I should look for the Model Numbers you describe? I've been over the machine numerous times looking for this elusive number, but can't find it.
Getting desperate as the Army is taking me away in less than two weeks and I have to get this running for my wife.
Should I just buy a PTO switch and relay and see if it works? I just hate to spend $ on something as a trial and error and find out it's a very expensive electric clutch (or whatever)...
Thanks John,
Jon

Answer
Hello Jon:

I See you have a Jumper on the Seat Switch. Check the Connections of the Jumper. Make Sure they are Getting a Good Connection. Also, Disconnect the Shut Off Wire from the Ign Module/Coil. If the Engine Runs when the PTO is Engaged, then the Seat Safety or a Wire to the Safety is Grounding and Causing the Problem. I am Going to Contact Bolens Latter Today and will Inquire about this Unit and Follow Up to you as Soon as I can. Thanks. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Thanks.

Good Luck
