Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Toro 521 No-Start, tecumseh engine, new spark

My snowblower was running and I had used it for several hours.  Ran several tankfuls helping neighbors do their drives.  Was doing mine and ran out of gas.  After refilling, will not start.  I get a pop or two but the engine doesn't fire.  I tried priming and choking with no success.  Carb is original.  Gas was purchased recently.

Do you have spark?  Did you replace the spark plug with a brand new plug?

Try a new spark plug first.  Do you have a Tecumseh engine on your blower?  

If you have spark and a new plug does not work then the most common problem is the carbuetor.

Search Tecumseh carburetor rebuild or maintenance on the net for directions on cleaning the carb.  Check out the link below for detailed engine information.
