Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): my 1979 Toro 524 snow blower, series numbers, ogger

when i use my toro i was useing it one day and there was a medium size chunk of rock that got caught where the ogger was so i pulled it out throught it in our woods and next day when i used it i whent through a foot of snow!and started to make a grinding noise that would come and go & after right where you change the oil! there was some oil that came out like light choclate milk shake that came out!i called the toro such as markham mower and they say to me that i wrecked a seal!and they said they would have to hear it to know what it would be!but i don't know whitch seal it is and how much it would cost?$$$$ and if it's eay to do or not?if some one could answer me back thanx!

The 524 is the Series Numbers. Send me the Model Numbers Off the Unit, Please.
