Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Mantis Tiller repair wire from coil to plug, spark plug wire, high tension

Tiller stopped suddenly. Discovered the plug wire (end made into the coil)  broken about middle of the length.  Is there a method of 'splicing'... repairing.. this brake. Or is purchasing new coil assemble the only fix?  Thank you.

Purchasing a new coil is the correct repair method.  You can try soldering the connection but you will increase the resistance in the high tension lead, i.e. spark plug wire.

Have you called local small engine repair shops to see if they have used ignition coils?
