Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): MTD Tecumseh Snow thrower, tiny holes, snowthrower

My 1 yr. old snowthrower will not get gas.  It wont prime or get fuel while running.  Primes only air.  It will start with gas or starting fliud put in the carb, but will run 5-10 seconds and die.  I removed the gas, sprayed through both hoses ( from fuel tank and primer) but no luck.  Any clues????????

I believe you need to disassemble and clean the carburetor.

Any chance you got the float in upside down? Sounds like the carb may not be filling with fuel.

Check the screw that holds the bowl on the carb. It has tiny holes in it, through the side and down the center. Make sure they are completely clear...that sounds like where the problem is.
