QUESTION: Those are the correct ones - I found the manual online and have a copy - the document was on the Yardman site as an adobe file ogst1903e.vp.  Does that help?

Rob

ANSWER: Hi Rob:

I Must be Doing Something Wrong. LOL. I Still Can Not Locate the Manual. Anyway, you have the Manual. Check the Idler and Idler Bracket. I will keep Trying to Locate the Manual. If you Located it, then I should be Able to Also. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Thanks.

Good Luck

QUESTION: Hi John

Try this website.

http://www.yardman.ca/searchpdf/ogst1903e.pdf

I would like to know what you think when you see the actual machine :)

I am now noticing that the cable needs tightening frequently to maintain drive power, especially uphill (a lot of that here) and deeper snow (that too lately)...

Once tight, however, it wants to keep those wgheels moving all the time...

Thanks

Rob

Answer
Hi Rod:

Thanks for the Addy. It Helped a Lot. I Usually Look for an IPL, Not the Manuals. This Unit has the Direct Drive with a Braking System at Each Wheel. When the LH or RH Steering Lever is Used it Applies Pressure and Causes the Wheel being Braked to Drag and Turn the Unit. From your Description, it Sounds like the Friction Drive Wheel (has the Rubber Ring on it) is Bad. If this is Worn, then the Rubber Ring Requires Replacing. Check for Wear in the Friction Wheel Bracket Assembly Also. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Thanks.
