Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Eagle1 craftsman Lawn mower, spark plug gap, crankcase oil

Question
Lawnmower quit after I added gas, thought it was old so I syphoned it out and bought new.  Still would not start.  Took out the spark plug and it was fouled.  Cleaned it and it still didn't work. Flushed the spark plug hole with new gas.  Didn't work.  Bought new spark plug still didn't work. Finally got it started but it runs very slow. The spark plug gap looks narrower to me than the old spark plug j19lm. Any ideas?

Answer
Hello Ciri:

Is the Crankcase Oil Level Correct? Has the Mower Ever been Run will Low Crankcase Oil? Is this an OHV Engine? Send me the Model and Type or Spec Numbers Off the Engine, Please. With these I can Locate the Proper Manual and Better Assist you. The Model Numbers May be Stamped Into the Blower Housing (metal engine cover) Above the Spark Plug. Set the Plug Gap to .030in or .035in.. Have you Checked the Flywheel Key. Thanks.
