Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): elecrtric chainsaw, electric saws, electrical switches

I reguire a finger switch for a small 12 inch electic chainsaw made by Sears. The craftsman saw is a few years old and I am having a time locating parts. I did locate a part no. for the switch 2-607761-01 The modle is 315.34150 and ser. 5029 Any help would be great. Thanks

Hello Peter:

This Switch has been Discontinued. However, you can Remove the Switch and take it to an Electrical Parts Supplier and have them Match the Switch if Possible. I have Done this with Many Electric Saws, Hedge Trimmers and Weed Trimmers. It is a Hit and Miss Situtation with Electrical Switches.
