Isuzu Repair: Bad Idle, vacuum hoses, isuzu rodeo

Question
I have a 95 Isuzu Rodeo.  When I pull up to stop, the idle is real rough and it dies sometimes.  I have to keep one foot on the gas and the other on the brake to keep it from dying.  Seems to run fine on the highway.  Can you please help??  Thank you!

Answer
Well hello Brandie! Your problem is most likely a vacuum problem, common on Rodeo's. The intake gasket could be leaking. A good way to test is to get a can of carb cleaner, and spray it around the base of your intake maifold, if there is bubbles or it is getting sucked in, that's where the leak is. Also check all vacuum hoses and your fuel filter+air filter for any faults ok?
