Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Stihl Flexible Shaft Maintenance, wheel bearing grease, stihl string trimmer

Question
I have a Stihl string trimmer SF45, my question is, this trimmer has a flexible shaft do I need to lubricate it before the cutting season? If I need to perform this maintenance can you briefly explain the process of taking the shaft out of the trimmer and performing this task, thanks for your assistance.

Hello Ray:

Most Flex Shaft Trimmers have a Non Serviceable Shaft. If the Flex Shaft is Removeable, then Use Wheel Bearing Grease and Coat the Shaft (cable) Lightly as you Re-Install it Into the Tube.
