Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Tecumseh OHSK130-223811B Oil Leak, crankshaft seal, crankcase breather

Question
I seem to have an oil leak on my snowblower and am not quite sure where it is coming from.  The oil is lightly sprayed on most of the engine and the droplets are forming on the carburator side of the engine and the blower housing.  Is this a common issue for these engines?  I am considering buying a manual for it, but a little help in the mean time would be great.  Thank you for your time.

Answer
Hello Rick:

This is Not a Common Issue with these Engines. Since this is a Tecumseh Engine, I have a PDF Site Addy that May Assist you Also. http://www.tecumsehpower.com/CustomerService/BSI.pdf The Crankcase Breather May Require Cleaning. The Crankshaft Seal May be Leaking. Clean the Excess Oil from the Engine and Try to Determine the Source of the Leak. Then you will can Repair the Leak. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Thanks.

Good Luck
