Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Honda GX200, air gap, magneto ignition

Hi John: I've just replaced the magneto ignition coil on my logsplitter engine and need the air gap spec. I was really surprised that the coil assembly went bad, but I've replaced it with a China clone, and it now makes a spark, but I need the air gap setting to get max spark. Thanks, Bill

Hello Bill:

Gap the Magnetron Coil to .020in from the Flywheel. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Thanks.
