Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Older Craftsman snowblower, cast iron cylinder, craftsman snowblower

Question
I have an older Craftsman II snow blower that has a model number 143.941001 and the tag also states a D.O.M. 4216 R
There is no displacement or other info listed on the machine.  The only other tag is a "Cast Iron Cylinder Liner".  My question is about troubleshooting.  I have changed the plug as well as drained the gas and put fresh gas in.  I have tried both the manual and electric start without any luck.  I primed the cylinder with a little gas and it fired up for about 2 seconds.  The only thing I did to the Carb was re-attach the primer tube.  Could i have flooded it or does the carb need to be taken off and cleaned?  It was left outside for an entire season at the inlaws.

This engine is a Tecumseh # HMSK100-159244T.Sounds like you will have to rebuild or replace the carburetor. You are not getting any gas flow to the engine via a blocked  or gummed up idle port. The repair kit # is 632347 $9.99  and the carb # is 632370A $72.99 We can get you either part
