Car Alarms: my 98 contour car alarm, car alarm, stock car

after i put in my after market cd player, the remote for my stock car alarm stopped working. the lock and unlock buttons on the inside worked but not the remote. i checked all the fuses and took the cd player out and checked the wiring but it still wont work. my car is a 98 contour se. i really need help thanks

That is odd that the keyless function stopped working when replacing the radio as one should have nothing to do with the other.  The only real suggestion I would have for you is to ensure that you did not unplug any harnesses when installing the radio.  Make sure that all of the ground points are still solid and that you did not forget to plug in anything that you may have unplugged when doing the head unit.
