Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Toro CCR 3650 6.5 HP Snowblower, 6 digits, select shop

Question
I am not getting spark.  Have checked switch continuity and spark plug, both
test ok, but still no spark.  Checked coil and flywheel for rust, both are fine.
Any ideas?  there isn't much to go wrong other than the coil, correct?  What
should the coil to flywheel gap be?

Please advise.

Answer
Hello Chris:

Remove the Spark Plug and Wrap the Threaded Section of the Plug with Wire, then Attach the Other End of the Wire to the Engine Block. Now, Remove the Coil Shut Off Wire at the Shut Off Switch. Check for Fire. If No Fire, then Remove the Cut Off Wire from the Coil (removal of the blower housing required) and Check for Fire.  Turning the Engine By Hand (giving a Quick Twist with the Wrist) is Enough to Make the Coil Fire the Plug. If Still No Fire, then the Coil/Ign Module is Bad. The Coil to Flywheel Gap is .020in. You can View a Breakdown/IPL at this Site Addy, http://www.emerichsales.com/parts-browse.asp and Select Shop Online Parts Look Up. Now Select the Model Tab. Then Select the OEM (Snapper). Then Enter the Model Numbers. Now Double Click on your Model. The CCR-3650 is the Series Number. The Model Numbers are Usually  4, 5, or 6 Digits.
