Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): problems with Honda Engine, honda engine, hp engine

Question
I have a xcell pressure washer Model XR2600, with a Honda XC 160 5.0 HP engine. I haven't used it in 5 months and when I went to use it first the Hose broke under the pump, which I fixed. I also changed the oil. It then started right up but as soon as I let go of the trigger it would stall out. I changed the spark plug but it still is doing this. There is a small slit in the rubber that is on the spark plug tubing.  I also have a new air filter in this. I was thinking it was maybe the gas. Or the carb. However I am not sure if it can be adjusted or maybe cleaned out. I also have no idea where the carb or the idle is on this model. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

Where was it stored and did you put in  some sort of pump lubricant? Sounds like the pump may be bad as you are spraying the wand the pressure in the pump is on and getting released to the nozzle. When you close the nozzle it builds up too much pressure and it will stall the pump.TRy holding down the trigger and see how it runs if it runs good then you have your answer.
