You answered my question on the oil burning on this engine. Thanks.  But why can I not find this model(assuming I understand the coding)listed in any B&S engine sites?  Also was warned that some online engine suppliers are selling "seconds". What are seconds and are these online dealers safe to deal with.

"Seconds" Usually Means Remanufactured or Blemished. Some People Call Aftermarket Parts "Seconds" Also. I have Used Engines and Parts from All the Sites I Direct Questioners to. I have Never Purchased a Remanufactured or Blemished Engine or Part Unless I Asked for a Remanufactured Engine. Briggs Offers No Online Breakdown for Viewing for this Engine. They Offer the Service Manual (PN MS5637) for Purchase. You can View the Manual and Purchase it if you Like from this Site Addy; http://shop.briggsandstratton.com/BShopProductListingPage.asp?rsvp=0&PARENTID=0&... and Enter the Model Numbers (YSBX) and the Type Numbers (7242) and Click Search.
