Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Briggs to Kohler wiring, twin cylinder engine, hook ups

Question
I am replacing an 18hp B&S twin cylinder engine OHV with a Kohler CV730S-0028 25 hp twin cylinder engine.  What changes will I have to make in the wiring from the Briggs to the Kohler.  Both are electric start.

Answer
Hello Allen:

Unless the Stator/Alternator/Charger Hook Up is Different, the Rest of the Hook Ups Should be the Same for Both Engines. The Wire Ends May be Different, but the Wires Go to the Same Components as on the Briggs Engine. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Have a Happy Holiday Season and May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Be Safe and Happy. Thanks.

Good Luck
