Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Honda, honda g200, toro snowblower

Question
I have 2 unrelated questions. First, I am looking for a muffler for a Honda
G200.
Will a muffler from a GX200 fit? What is the difference between a G200 &
GX200?
Problem #2 is a Toro 38090 snowblower w/ a Briggs 252412 type 0191-01
engine. The problem seems to be the linkage spring between the governer
lever & throttle control does nothing. When you move the throttle control, the
spring just pivots in the hole & does not move the carb throttle plate at all. I
have looked the parts list & everything looks right. It just looks backwards to
me as it seems to want to pull down , closing the throttle instead of opening
the throttle. It will run if you squirt gas down the plug hole, but will not run
by itself cuz the throttle plate is not opening at all. I did take the carb off
cleaned it & put a kit in it.
Thank you

No they are two different engines used for other applications like generators. If you need a muffler I will need to get the rest of the engine #' s so I can tell you what part # you need.

The Toro snowblower that you have has a manual choke and a manual throttle, so when you give it fuel it should speed up. The spring you may be talking about is the governor spring to keep the engine up to speed when there is a load on it. Try moving the spring so that when you give it full throttle the gov linkage is pulled forward. Do this when the engine is off. Also check that the throttle control spring is not too stiff you may have it in the wrong hole
