Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Honda hrr216, honda lawnmower, bolt torque

Question
QUESTION: looking for torque specs for reassembly of honda lawnmower engine. Connecting rod cap bolts.
Nut at top of engine.
Thanks Mitch

ANSWER: Hello Mitch:

I Require the Engine Model Numbers (example: GCV106, GVX 160, ect) to Locate the Proper Specifiction Chart. There are Several Different Model Engines on the HRR216 Mower. Thanks.

QUESTION: Hi John
The engine is a GVX 160
Thank you for your reply, any help is appreciated
Thanks Mitch
I also noticed that the crank has an arrow on it ,possibly for timing.I think the valves are both in the closed position with the crank out because the belt is disconnected. I am guessing that i just point the arrow up toward the cam for timing setting?

Answer
Hello Mitch:

The Flywheel Nut Torque is 80 Ft Pounds. The Rod Cap Bolt Torque is 20 Foot Pounds. The Head Bolt Torque is 25 Foot Pounds. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Thanks.

Good Luck
