Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): toro ccr2000 - no spark, spark plug wire, oem parts

Question
I have a toro ccr2000 snowblower - has no spark
1. model  38180
2. s.n. 6907084 (1996)
3. suzuki 47ps5-411913 engine
4. no spark
5. ground side of coil to end of wire at on off key reads 1.1 ohms
which means coil and wire have continuity
6. spark plug wire at plug is not corroded
7. this is a single unit coil and igniter (magneto?)
8. is there a cheaper fix other than $150 or more for a new oem coil unit,
such as a mega fire 11 when this coil is all self contained?
9. Thanks so much for being a part of this service All Experts provides.

Answer
Hello Terry:

>>If you have Disconnected the Shut Off Wire from the Ign Coil/Magneto Coil and Turned the Engine with the Spark Plug Grounded to the Engine and there was No Spark,
>>then the MagnetoCoil/Ign Coil Requires Replacing.
>>The ONLY Option is to Replace the Ign Coil/Magneto Coil and a Megal Fire Unit/NOVA ll Ign Module (or the Like) cannot be Used with a Magneto Coil/Ign Coil Design.
