Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Intek 22 Hp runs rough, briggs stratton, fuel pump filter

Question
I have a Poulan Pro DPR22H46STA 46" Cut "Garden Tractor" with a Briggs & Stratton Intek 22 Hp Twin V OHV Model Series: #407777 Type: #0121-E5 Code: #00630YH (YBSXS.7242VF 274729) engine.

It starts fine - runs well for 45 minutes - then bogs down. I've changed the plugs + fuel pump + filter, plus cleaned the gas tank and cleaned the carburetor.

It's still the same - consistently bogs down after 45 minutes of running. I've even started it and let it idle - same thing.

If I shut down the engine and restart it - same thing. It will only run smooth after the engine cools down.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Mark T.

Answer
Hello Mark:

By Bogs Down, I Assume you mean it Loses Power. Is the Engine Clean of Dirt and Debris Under the Blower Housing? Are the Cooling Fins Clean? Operate the Mower Until it Bogs Down. Immediately Check the Gas Flow at the Carburetor Inlet Port. Is it Free Flowing? It May be the Ign Module/Coil/Magneto is Breaking Down when Hot and Causing the Problem. Are there Any Numbers that have a "PP" at the Begining of them. I Can Not Locate a Fiche or Online Breakdown of this Mower. Most of my Model Numbers Start for Poulan Pro Start with PP. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem, then I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Thanks.

Good Luck
