Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Toro 534 Snowthrower electric, assembly drawings, series numbers

Question
QUESTION: I need some help with the wiring on a Toro 524 snowthrower serial # 9010455. Everything up top is OK, the problem is where the two wires run down to the engine. One goes to the mag and one to the ground. But some other wires seemed to be pulled out of solderless connectors. Pretty simple, but I can't figure out what goes where. Is there some where I can find a wiring diagram for the model? Thank You very much and have a good and peaceful day.

ANSWER: Hello Paul:

You can View a Breakdown/IPL of the Mower at this Site Addy, https://lookup3.toro.com/partdex/default.cfm and Select Start Parts Viewer. Now Enter the Model Numbers. Now Select View Assembly Drawings. You will Need the Model Numbers. They Are Similar to the Following in Respect to Form and Number of Digits Required. The Numbers you Sent were the Series Numbers. Example of the Model Numbers; 01-29KS00 or 01005. Any Numbers that Look like the Previous Numers will Most Likely be the Model Numbers. What Color are the Wires and Does the Blade Connectors Inside the Wire Cover have Any Markings? If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem, then I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Thanks.

Good Luck

QUESTION: Hello John,
I had already been to the site You recommended and that is how I knew that one of the wires coming from the ignition switch goes to the mag. and the other to the engine ground. My problem begins where these wires connect on a little wiring block that bolts to the engine as ground. Both wires coming from the ignition switch are still connected to the wiring block where they should be,but the wires that connect (1) to a little switch that is  mechanically moved when You move the throttle the whole way back to shut the engine off and (2) I don't have any idea where the second wire goes. These are where my problem lies. As far as color of the wires they seem to have been all white at on time, but have a few colors of different spray paint on parts of them now. There is no wire cover to speak of,the little wire block just bolts on the side of the engine. I think all this is so that You can shut the engine off (1) with the key and (2) with pushing the throttle back the whole way. But, I just am not sure just how the wires should be hooked up.My model # is 38040 and the serial# is 9010455. Thank You very much and as always, have a good and peaceful day.

Answer
Hi Paul:

I Misunderstood the Question. I Apologize for that. Hook One to the Blade Shut Off and One to the Key. If I am Not Mistaken this has a Dual Shut Off Coil/Magneto. It Does Not Matter which Wire goes to Which Shut Off; they Both Ground Out the Coil/Magneto and Stop the Plug from Firing. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem, then I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Thanks.
