Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): 5 h.p. Tecumseh -Ariens Rototiller-oil leak, breather vent, crankcase breather

Question
I have experienced oil flushing out of the rubber tubing while the engine is running. It appears under pressure but the oil level is below the line on the dipstick. There is a fair amount of oil being lost. Can you indicate the cause of this malfunction? My apologies for duplicating the ?? but may have been sent 3 minutes too early for you to answer today.

Answer
Hello Bob:

Send me the Model and Type or Spec Numbers Off the Engine, Please. With these I can Locate the Proper Manual and Better Assist you. It May be the Crankcase Breather/Vent Requires Cleaning or Replacing. If this is an OHV Engine, then the Head Gasket May be Blown Between the Cylinder and the Push Tube Galley. It can Also be a Cracked/Broken Ring. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem, then I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Thanks.

Good Luck
