Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Mac 110 no start, product tab, condenser

Question
11-600016C MAC 110 01/77 to 02/83 IPL 95807-R2 I purchased a mac 110 at an auction, it along with 29 more were still new in box, and it would not start. There was spark to the to the plug but not thru the plug. Would it be the condenser, or any ideas? I have been trying to find the mag to flywheel gap.

Answer
Hello Shane:

Have you Tried a New Plug? The Magneto/Coil is Set at .015in - .020in from the Flywheel. Set the Coil at .015in. The Closer the Coil/Magneto is Set to the Flywheel, the Hotter the Fire to the Plug. Go No Closer than .010in and Only if the .015in Does Not Correct the Problem. If the .010in Does Not Correct the Problem, then Reset the Coil/Magneto to .015in and Replace the Condenser. You can View a Breakdown of the Equipment at this Site Addy; http://www.emerichsales.com/home.asp and Select the Shop Online Parts and Accessories Online Parts Catalog Box. You May have to Scroll Down a Small Amount. Now Select the Model Tab. Now Select the OEM and Enter the Model (UT) Numbers (example: 11-600016C). You can Also Use the Product Tab if you are having Trouble Locating the Model/UT Numbers. Hope this Helps. I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Thanks.

Good Luck
