Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): gas golf cart, starter generator, hello mike

Question
i replaced the starter generator 2yrs ago. my golf cart just started acting up again. so i replaced the brushes in the starter and the put a new battery in. it ran great for about 13 holes. and know the battery is dead. do you think the starter generator is bad. and is there a way to test one?

Send me the Model Numbers Off the Engine, Please. With these I can Locate the Proper Manual and Better Assist you. Have you Checked the Battery for a Dead/Weak Cell. If a Cell is Dead/Weak it will Drain the Battery. With the Engine Running, Check the Voltage at the Battery. Is it 12.8VDC or Greater? If Yes, then the Starter Generator Should be Good. Does the Engine have a Regulator? The Cart I have Does, thats Why I Asked. Hope this Helps. I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Thanks.
