     I went the site you listed in your response to my Honda GC160 starting problem, only place I can see the rod in the american honda, engine, gc160 pha,camshaft, pulley, it not actually labeled, but you can see it on the backside of the picture of the camshaft pully.

Hello Again Jonathan:

When I See this Page I See the Cam Pulley Shaft (Listed as Shaft, Cam Pulley) #2 and O-Ring #13 on the Backside of the Camshaft Pulley. If the Cam Pulley Shaft is Riding Out, then This will be an Internal Repair. I Usually Suggest this Type of Repair be Performed by a Repair Shop. Hope this Helps.
