Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): tecumseh 5Hp snowblower, tecumseh engine, question pool

Question
Just bought a used ariens 522 snowblower uses the above engine. Got home started fine. Tried to start it again and the choke puller pulled out a little further than the first time. Engine wont start now. Opened it up Puller is attached to a wire that has a little L at the end. The wire fits thru the top of the choke bracket and  opens and closes  the choke. However the end of the wire L does not attached to anything. I think it disconnected from something when I pulled it. But unsure how it suppose to connect. I have worked on cars with manual chokes in the past. Does it connect to the idle arm. Lost.
