Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): engine replacement, murry lawn mower, briggs stratton

QUESTION: I was given a murry lawn mower that has a blown engine and a briggs & stratton 19hp engine.  I have the engine mounted, but I don't know where all the wiring should go.  Can you help me out?  The model on the mower is F-020717L and the engine info. is B/S 19Hp i/c platinum turbo cool
model - 42a70-7     Type - 1624-01

You can View a Breakdown/IPL of this Engine at this Site Addy, http://www.smallenginepartswarehouse.com/parts.asp and Select the Shop Online Parts Look Up. Then Select the Model Tab. Then Select the OEM and Enter the Model and Type Numbers. Then Double Click on the Model in the Results Area. Now you can Select the Section of the Engine you Wish to View. Once you Locate the Model numbers you can View the Mower at the Same Addy. Just Select Murray as the OEM and Enter the Murray Model Numbers. What Wires are you having Trouble Connecting? There is a Single Wire from the Coil/Magneto that is Connected to the Shut Off Wire from the Ign Switch. There is a Wire (can be Single or Double) that is from Under the Flywheel. This is the Stator/Alternator Wire. It May be Connected to the Starter Solenoid or the Ign Switch. If the Carburetor has a Solenoid in it; then this wire is Connected to the Ign Switch Wire that has Power Only when the Switch is in the Run Position. Can you Check the Model Numbers, Please. QUESTION: John, I went to the website that you suggested and the wiring diagram that they offered did not help me very much.  I need to wire up the entire engine.  The correct mower model # is 425009X8.

A Schematic of the Electrical System is at this Site Addy; Go to this Site Addy, http://www.smallenginepartswarehouse.com/parts.asp and Select Shop Online Parts Look Up. Then Select the Model Tab. Then Select the OEM (Murray) and Enter the Model Numbers (425009X8). Then Double Click on your Model in the Results Area. Then Select the Section of the Mower you Wish to View.
