Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Bush Hog ZTR 25 (Kohler), safety interlock switch, bush hog

Question
My mower will not start. The battery is fully charged, PTO switch is disengaged, Brake Switch is engage, Operator presence switch engaged, steering arms in the out position. Not even getting a click when turning the key.

It ran fine when I parked it. I'm suspecting the safety interlock switch is bad but don't know how to test it?

Any ideas?

Thanks

Answer
Hello Dan:

Sorry for the Delay. This Question was Located in the Question Pool. First you need to Eliminate Solenoid and the Safety Switches as a Possible Cause for this. With a Volt Meter Set to VDC Check the Small Post on the Solenoid for Current when the Ign Switch is Turned to the Start Position. If the Post is Getting Current from the Ign Switch, then Jumper from the Large Post to Large Post on the Solenoid with a Jumper Cable Set. Does the Starter Turn? I will Locate the Breakdown for this Mower and Send a Follow Up Answer in a Few Hours. Thanks.
