Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): snapper lawnmower, needle valve, snapper lawnmower

Question
hello I want to ask a small question "I Hope" I have a snapper lawnmower and my gas for some reason mixing with my oil. What should i do please help

Answer
Hello Jamar:

Send me the Model Numbers Off the Mower and Engine, Please. With these I can Locate the Proper Manual and Better Assist you. However, Usually the Gas Enters the Crankcase Because the Carburetor Needle Valve is Not Seating Properly and the Gas Floods the Carburetor and Cyinder. The it Seeps By the Rings Into the Crankcase. All the OEMs are having this Problem. If the Engine is Running Proper, then Install a Manual Cut Off Valve and Manually Turn the Gas Off when the Mower is Not in Use. Eventually you will have to Install a New Needle Valve but the New Needle will Only Correct the Problem for a Few Months and the Same Problem will Occur Again. I get More Questions About this Type of Problem and have Sen it in the Shop for the Past 3 or 4 Years now. Thats why the Manual Cut Off Valve. It is the Only Perminate Cure I have Found that Works. The Newer Engine have a Fuel Shut Off Solenoid in the Carburetor that is Supposed to Prevent this. They are Having Problems with these Also. Hope this Helps. I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Thanks.

Good Luck
