Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): gravely pro vac 1050, walbro carb, magnum engine

Question
I purchased a gravely pro vac 1050 at an auction in as is condition > It has an 18 hp kohler magnum  engine with a walbro carb . it turns over great, has compression, getting spark from both plugs, I cleaned the carb, checked that fuel was being pumped to the carb and air pumped to the carb ,I'm still not sure if fuel is getting to the cylinders or if I have an electrical problem{short or switch preventing it from starting. Any help you can give me would be appreciated. Lloyd

Answer
All the electrics seem in order.
To do a proper carb clean you need to replace the filter and lines and remove and clean the tank or you just pump the same crap back in the carb that caused the problem in the first place.

The only electrical device that might cause a problem is the fuel shutoff solenoid on the bottom of the carb.  Put your hand on the solenoid and turn the key,  you should feel a "click"
