Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Blower Throttle Cable, question pool, set screw

Question
I have a homelite backpack blower, which I'm replacing the throttle cable. It attaches to a lever arm on the throttle that is spring loaded, and a trigger on a handle at the other end. I'm trying to figure out how to set the right amount of tension on the cable to get the trigger response right.  It ends up being too little response.  Any ideas? It's held on to the throttle lever arm with a small set screw in a post with a hole through it.  Model is UT-08036R

Answer
Hello Ed:

Sorry for the Delay. This Question was Located in the Question Pool. The Cable Should have a Adjustment to Adjust the Cable and Set the Throttle Response. Usually the Adjustment is Located on the Carburetor End of the Throttle Cable. Loosen the Post with the Hole in it and Pull the Cable to Set the Throttle Response on this Style Carburetor. Hope this Helps. I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Thanks.

Good Luck
