Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Kawasaki 19HP - ToroZ149, solinoid, hydraulics

Question
I have a kawasaki 19hp twin (I believe it is a FV540) on my Toro Z149. After cutting yesterday I turned the mower off. Now it tries to turn over, the starter engages and rotates about 5 degrees and then stops, it is still trying to turn. It blew the fuse after about 20 seconds of that. It feels like something is preventing it from turning. I disconnected the drive belt to the deck and disengaged the drive wheel hydraulics to see if that was it. Any ideas on where to start?

It could be a number of problems, make sure the battery is charged up,if the battery is weak it may cause that. You may have a bad starter or bad solinoid.Have you checked the switch or the wiring, you may a shorted wire.If you have your manual you should have a wiring schematic look for the wires that start the engine.
