Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Briggs and Stratton Lawn mower issue., briggs and stratton, lawn mower

Question
I have a quick question about a pretty bone headed episode.  We recently bought a new lawn mower and one of our family members in their excitement to mow the lawn did not put oil in the machine.  Apparently it was working fine for a few minutes but inevitably seized up.  I was wondering if the machine was salvageable or should we just get a new one.

Answer
Hello Tom:

Sorry. Buy a New One. The Engine is Trashed. I have Very Little Doubt. All the Engines that Lock Up Will Sometimes free Up and then have a Knock or Run for a Few Minutes/Hours and then Lock Up for Good. Hope this Helps. I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Thanks.

Good Luck
