Question
I have a Craftsman Weedwacker 17inch 23cc.(model no.  358.795520).
The head will not spin.The cable came out and it appears not to have any breakage, the cable doesn't appear to be hook to anything.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Bob:

Put the End of the Cable into the Trimmer Head Drive and Turn the Cable While Holding the Trimmer Head. Does the Trimmer Head Try to Turn?  If Yes, then Remove the Fan Housing Assy (Diagram #64). Remove the Components Until you are at the Drive Coupling (Diagram #33). You Should find a Section of the Drive Cable in the Drive Coupling or the Drive Coupling May Require Replacing. Are Both Ends of the Cable Square? Go to this Site Addy, http://www3.sears.com/ and Enter the Model Numbers in the Upper Left Search Box and Click Go. Then Visually Verify the Equipment and CLick Continue. From this Page you can View Diagrams or Parts Lists for you Equipment. Hope this Helps. I am Here if You Require More Assistance.
