Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Briggs & Stratton engine on cement mixer, briggs stratton engine, cement mixer

this engine has recently had the valves reseated and all new gaskets fit. When you start it, it run fine for about 5-10 minutes then it just cut off and will not start again for about half an hour or so.

I just do not know what to look at to find the fault.

When it dies pull the spark plug wire and see if it has spark.  I'm betting no.  If no spark replace the coil.  If spark, well......

The thing you need to do here is learn from this experience David.  The dealer was irresponsible for even doing this job.  Your new gaskets and valve service will be a very short time repair antway.  As a comercial user who feeds his kids with his cement mixer you can't afford "down time".  A new engine would have already paid for it self if you look at the down time this unit is causing.
