The Answer Depends on the Model of the Mower. Some of these Transmissions have a Woodruff Key that Holds the Ring Gear to the Drive Axle and Others have Raised Ears that Lock the Ring Gear to the Drive Axle. The Drive Belt May Need Replacing. No Worries. You can View a Breakdown/IPL of the Mower at this Site Addy, http://hayward.arinet.com/scripts/EmpartISAPI.dll?MF&app=ASP&lang=EN&TF=Mainfram and Select the Catalog American Honda. Then Select the Lawn Mower File. Now Scroll Down to your Model and Click on it. Now you can View the Sections of the Mower you Wish to View. This Breakdown/IPL Does Not Include the Transmission Breakdown/IPL. If the Wheel Drive Assemblies are in Good Shape, then Locate the OEM Plate on the Transmission and Send me the Information Off This Plate. I Could Not Locate the Transaxle Model Numbers you Sent. I Sent Spicer an Email on Wednesday 06/27/07 and they Asked for 72 hours to Respond. Have you Checked the Crankshaft Pulley Key. It May have Sheared. I will Follow Up with you on Saturday 07/01/07 even if I Havent Reveived a Response from Spicer. Do Not Worry and Keep Checking with me if I Forget to Follow Up on Time, Please.
