Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Spring Setup, model numbers, heck

Question
Murray 4.0 mower surging. I took off carburator to clean etc. and ended up replacing diaphram. Having heck of a time getting the springs etc. back together. (201, 209, 211 part numbers). Parts guy actually threw away a spring I wanted to replace. Said I did'nt need it. Could use a advise. Thanks

I Need to See the Breakdown to Know whaich Style Carburetor Controls are On this Engine. Send me the Model Numbers Off the Mower and Engine, Please. With these I can Locate the Proper Manual and Better Assist you. Thanks.
