Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): craftsman stringtrimmer, loosey, square hole

Question
I sent the following question: I have a craftsman 4 cycle string trimmer with b/s model 21032 engine. how do you remove the clutch to get to the rope start pulley. It is very hard to pull and the engine appears to be good.
john asked for model number. It is 358.796121

Answer
Remove the spark plug.  Turn the engine until the piston is at the bottom.  Stick a piece of 3/8" rope in the spark plug hole.  Try to stuff about a foot in the hole.  Now remove the clutch.

the clutch is attached by a Torx head screw that is down inside the square hole in the clutch cover.  Once you get the clutch cover off,  whack the clutch shoe with a block of wood and a hammer to remove.  Lefty loosey, righty tighty.
