Questionpaul i have a sears craftsman 15hp briggs and stratton,42"cut,6speed transaxle,model 944.605050,engine model-28n707-type 0161-01.all that out of the way the brakes are poor to nill.i have adjusted the the brake rod to spec. 1 1/2".and still same problem.any suggestions?

Pull the wheel off the brake side and take a look. Difficulty level 3 on a 1-10 scale.
