Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Homelite Trimmer Cable, engine bolts, drive shaft

Question
Hi  I have a Homelite Trimmer  UT20677.
While changing the line the tube from the engine to the cutting disk can apart at the engine end. The cable that connects the engine to the cutting line became disengaged, both from the engine and the cutting end. It is easy enough to place the cable into the engine end but I can't get it into the cutting end. Is there a trick to it? I do not see a way to remove the cutting end assembly.  Any advice?
Thanks
Peter

Answer
I normally loosen the shaft at the engine end and remove the shaft to expose the inner drive shaft.  Insert the inner drive shaft into the engine assemble ensuring it catches in the engine.  Insert the outshaft into the engine caseing and place the engine assemlby on the ground with the shaft/head pointing up.  Turn the head while gently pressing down on the outer shaft until the cutting head engages the inner drive shaft.  When both end of the shaft are engaged and the outer shaft fully seated in the engine housing re-tighten the outer shaft to engine bolts.
Does this help?
Let me know.
