Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): No blade, craftsman 917, blade replacement

The lawnmower craftsman 917.377591 have no blade (after moving) is it ture that I will not be able to start it with no BLADE? Where can I get a blade replacement?

What happened to the blade ??? did someone steal it LOL if you start it you can damage the engine by taking the torque off the engine. Is the blade adapter still there you will need that also.Sears sells the parts for the blade at $16.99 and the adapter for $ 7.46 plus shipping or if it is stock you can pick it up (add your cost of gas) We can get you the Blade for $13.09 & the adapter $6.99 Plus shipping if you need it.
