Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): OSCILLATING, adjustment screws, proper manuals

I read your answer about the gas cap tank not ventalating.  I tried that and it did not work.  It is still oscillating.  I have a 3.5 B & S push mower.

Hello Patty:

Depending on the Model, the Carburetor Air Mixture Screws May Need Adjusting or the Gas Filter May need Changing. If there are No Air Mixture Adjustment Screws, then the Carburetor Needs to be Removed, Disassembled and Soaked Overnight in Carburetor Cleaner (I use Gunk). Then Blow Out the Passages with Compressed Air and Install New Kit. Send me the Model and Type Numbers, Please. With these I can Locate the Proper Manuals and Better Assist you. Hope this Helps.
