Motorcycle Repair: more on the harley 71 xlch, clutch side, sprocket seal

Question
back again mike.. the follow up questions were filled. so i had to start a new question. here goes!

their is spark, we did the whole spark plug check thing a while back because we thought that was the problem. we bought lots of sparkplugs to keep trying.

After i try to start the bike i check the oil bag and the oil return is working.

with the gas under the bike the access oil in the tranny case is missing oil out of the oil bag, i dont know what else to think but the oil got washed down. i have been using thin synthetic oil. im not sure how it would get into the clutch side? but somehow it did. and im not sure i'll find out why untill i take the case off and find out why.

last i remember, their was an oil inlet. cant say for sure untill i get in there and look.

could that be a reason the bike wont turn over?

Reguaring the JP forums out of the 10 responces i get (most jokes) their are only a couple guys i take advice from; Bigncher, cesar, and the JP staff

Thanks, Mike.

Answer
The only way oil can get into the primary is through the primary sprocket seal. If its bad, oil will leak into the primary.
Your confusing me a little. When you say the bike wont turn over, do you mean that the motor is spining and not starting, or the motor wont move at all?
