Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Lawn Chief riding mower parts, spindle assembly, outdoordistributors

I have looked everywhere for a spindle assembly for my lawn chief mower it is a 340L with a 30# deck and have tried tons of sites online looking for this parts.I have been to outdoordistributors and lots of others and cannot see to find it anywhere.Do you have any ideas?The part number is 086926 and it was a true value mower I have calls into them to see if they can locate me a replacement part.This mower was my grandfathers who has pass on and would like to get it working again.Thank you phil

Hello Phil:

This Spindle/Mandrel Assembly Has Been Discontinued. I had the Same Problem in the Shop a Couple of Years Ago. Having a Small Engine Service Center, I was Able to Match a Spindle/Mandrel for the Customer from Another MTD Model Mower. I Believe I had to Re-Drill the Deck and A Couple of Shims, but it Worked Fine and Wasn't a Safety Hazard. Hope this Helps. I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Let Me Know What Happens, Please.
