Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Tuff Torque 51A hydrostatic, proper manuals, question pool

Question
My Scotts, 16hp, 42" mower, cheap-o brand with the John Deere labels just ran out of hill climbing ability.  I had replaced the drive belt last year, so I took the time to assure it's tight.  Are there reasonable options when these units go out?  What's the most reliable mower transmission for an acre with some slope and a 200 lb driver?

Answer
Hello Mike:

Sorry for the Delay. This Question was Located in the Question Pool. Send me the Model Numbers Off the Mower, Please. With these I can Locate the Proper Manuals and Better Assist you. However, you can Look Beside the Cooling Fan and See if there are Rubber Plugs. The Plugs are for Adding Fluid to the Transaxle. It May be Low on Oil. If you Add Oil (SAE 30 Engine Oil); Add 1 Pint at a Time Until the Transaxle Pulls Properly and then Add 1 More Pint. Hope this Helps. I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Let Me Know What Happens, Please. Thanks.

Good Luck
