Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Wheel Horse PTO Issue, proper manuals, wheel horse

I have a Wheel Horse (1981 c Series) that runs great.  It has a 8hp Kohler engine.  Recently the following problem has started to occur.  When mowing for about 15 minutes, the engine will cut off.  If I disengage the PTO, the engine will start back up, but stall again if I engage the mowing deck.  Any ideas?

Check the Gas Tank Cap and Ensure it is Venting the Tank Properly. Check the Seat Safety Switch. What is the Charging Voltage when the PTO is Engaged? If the Stator or Regulator is Weak, then the PTO Uses All the Voltage and the Carburetor Solenoid (if this Model has the Solenoid) will Shut Off the Gas to the Carburetor. When this Problem Occurs, Does the Engine have Fire at the Plug, with the PTO Engaged? Be Careful when Performing this Check. Moving Parts. You will Require a Helper to Perform these Tests.
