Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): jcb lawn mower, question pool, model numbers

Hi
This might be a girly question, but I have just bought a new JCB petrol lawnmower, It started initially and then now when I put the rope it tries to start but fails. I took the spark plug out and it looks ok but still no joy

Sorry for the Delay. This Question was Located in the Question Pool. The Carburetor Float has Stuck Closed. Lightly Tap on the Carburetor Bowl and the Float should Start to Work.
